So, since I last posted, we have had a lot of things happen. Our plants have grown like crazy! We made a stand for our tomatoes to grow, tied ropes to it for other plants to grasp onto to, planted strawberries, and we are even ready to start harvesting some of our vegetables.
We learned a lot about strawberries and our class has mixed reviews on what the berries will do to our system. Since the berries require such a low pH, we expect some different things to happen. Either the berries will not grow as well as we hope or some of the other plants will have to be sacrificed due to the low pH levels.
We are now looking for a chef to make us something with the pak choy we have grown, so we are looking forward to that. It is great to see that we started with nothing, and we now have food!
Look at our system! It is doing soooo well!
The fish get so excited when you come up to them, they think you are going to feed them :)
